“For the mighty one has done great things for me and Holy is his name ” ( Lk : 1 : 49 )

First and foremost let me thank the God almighty for his incessantly & providential protection for the past 9 years educational journey at Haldaur, Baldia Village .

Today the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be life long learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever – changing global society. A school must try to provide its students with an atmosphere for multifaceted development, where children are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic, student centric environment. A good educational system is one that helps a child to nurture his / her talents and overcome shortcomings by providing appropriate, all – encompassing education. This enables the child to develop his / her personality and equips the child to face the challenges of life. At the St. Mary’s convent school, our approach to learning is child –centric, encouraging activity- based learning and including a scientific temper and a spirit of free enquiry. In our curriculum, the student is the primary focus, and each child is involved in the learning process.

In the words of John Dewey, “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” Children these days are much more sensitive; they possess very high self – esteem and believe in independent thinking. Therefore, we ensure that the approach to motivating and getting the best out of the children is based on the positive reinforcement of good work and good behaviour. We constantly work to develop a sense of discipline and good moral character where all students are expected to conform to high disciplinary standards and to develop values of tolerance, fair play, compassion, integrity and fortitude.

Wishing you all happy learning and a great scholastic year ahead. God Bless

Welcome to St. Mary’s School Haldaur, a place for quality education, a place where innovative ideas meet and materialize. We expect to create a school culture where all students strive for academic excellence, where children are taught how to think, instead of what to think.

I appreciate the teachers who create an atmosphere where students look forward to learning, where you hear laughter coming from the classroom, and where students feel challenged but not overwhelmed.

It was a humble beginning in 4th April 2007. with 110 students in a hut. Since then the school saw several revamps both structural and educational in order to embolden the motto of the institute WISDOM, TRUTH, KNOWLEDGE

Education is nothing but creating better human beings by upholding the core values of humanity. It’s a process of going back to our roots, a homecoming and accepting world as family .With such vast diversity of races, religions, cultures and languages, what holds this global family together is the universal brotherhood. Like how air is to physical world so is ‘Peace’ to the world in spirit. As air brings life, purity and serenity to the world around so is the peace promoting love, harmony, and humanity in human relations.

Wish you all the best in your life.
