HISTORY OF SCHOOL
St. Mary’s Convent School is a Minority Institution Established in 2007 and run by the Congregation of Sisters of Charity. It is open to all irrespective of religion, caste, creed or community School have well trained faculty who have the potential to guide the students Physically, Mentally and spiritually and because of it children are developing at a tremendous pace. School is surrounded by village such as Khatapur, Nanupura, Baldia, Sherpur Kalyan etc. from where students are coming to get education. This school is running for co- educated, then also we are focusing on girl education so that they too can match steps with boys and fulfil their dreams.

ELIGIBILTY
Pre-primary is a 3 years course with Nursery, LKG, and UKG classes. Age for Admission in Nursery is 3 years at the time of registration in January. Admission is granted after a selection test for which registration is done in advance. Admission is assignment to a particular class or section is entirely reserved to the school authorities.
A satisfactory evidence of the date of birth of the candidate should be produced at the time of admission. Date once entered in the application form will not be altered in any case. Admission will nor be granted to pupils who have attended other schools, until a transfer certificate from the school last attended is produced.
EXAMINATION
The whole academic year is divided in to two semesters and examinations are conducted at the end of every semester. The required pass marks in every subjects is 40. Failure to get pass percentage in any subject will result in losing grade.

RESULTS
Promotions are granted on the basis of the whole year’s work of a student. The final result will be made as per the norms given below.
Half yearly Examination : 40 %
Annual Examination : 50 %
Unit Tests : 10 %
Each unit test is of 25 marks:
Written : 20 marks
Internal assessment : 05 marks
The additional 5 marks will be given in all subjects by the subject teachers considering the following points.

Aims and Objectives
The aim of this institution is to train the students under its care for an all round, balanced growth of their intellectual, spiritual, mental, physical, cultural, social and moral aspects that they may be fully equipped citizens so as to fulfill the future demands of our country and the human society (in general). Its service is open to all good and earnest candidates without the distinction of caste, colour or creed. A Christian student in particular:- Has encountered the person of Lord Jesus Christ as presented in the Bible. He/ She must have the basic understanding of the church’s teaching about God, Lord Jesus Christ and his Redeeming Mission. With a view to preserving the Catholic Faith, classes on religion will be conducted and it will be obligatory for Catholic children to attend them.
Loving : One who is learning to accept oneself with strength and weakness. Communicates easily with others. Feels at ease with person of the complimentary sex. Has begun to appreciate deeper personal friendships but has also learned that not all relationships are profound and long lasting. Through service of others one finds his / her life enriched.
Committed to doing justice : Consciously seeks to be more respectful, understanding, accepting and generous with others against the attitude and tendencies, that leads to injustice. Sees that religious faith implies a commitment to a just society. Has been exposed to the needs of the poor in the school and has developed compassion for them. Is aware of the need to help and support those suffer injustice e.g. women, the poor, the bonded labourers , the handicapped, the refugees and the unemployed. Begins to understand the structural roots of injustice in social institutions, attitudes and customs.
